I should have mentioned that today's and the previous day's sets are from one of the alternate designs for set #4996 - Beach House. It's an excellent set.
It was odd listening to a lot of one-hit wonders from the nineties while composing this layout and then writing the text here. It's odder to realize that Nirvana's "Nevermind" is a year away from the standard twenty-years-old designation for classic rock format radio - if people still fussed about that sort of distinction, that is.
"Bonk!" -- that's pure comedy gold.
Oddly enough, I've been coming itunes and the bargain cd bins lately for the tunes of my youth. Not really for nostalgia, just for the sound I guess. Since I'm WAY too old for most current music (and yes, I hate most of it and you meddlin' kids need to get off my lawn!), I'm rediscovering the one-hits and obscure album tracks that peppered the AM-FM dial back in the late 70s. No disco, however. NEVER disco. Even old people have some taste.
