Well, I may have had a heavy Christmas Eve episode, but I at least got something less arch for the end of the year.
I haven't decided if this'll end up as a true part of Ersatz Meadows or not yet. I have a way to write most any in if need be, but this is mostly for fun. And the later ones will be more fun...
A note: using the robot minifig from series #1 is really odd when it's not Frobot from "Brick House." Chris Doyle's a lot like Larry Niven in that way - once a storytelling vein is opened up, he tends to stripmine it in the most entertaining fashion. (I can't recall who said that about Niven, but it sprang to mind here.)
Another note: here I've got up the three winter sets from LEGO, as well as a wide sampling of the collectible minifigs. A few other official sets will appear in this interlude.
The mummy curse the ninja? A RED ninja? I don't believe this is possible. Because... http://drmcninja.com/archives/comic/20p47/
It must've taken a few days for that toddler to get around to naptime! :D What are they feeding him anyway? ;)
I've sung a fair bit of Radiohead to my toddlers in their time, but never any Metallica. The idea of a banjo and saxophone version of "Enter Sandman" makes me smile.
I'll hit up the Dr McNinja link later, but bear in mind this is a teenaged mummy. As if he'd not bite off more than he could chew...
Oh, a teenaged mummy. Touché. Darn kids. ;)
