This is a really effective scene if you have a) good actors, b) lots of time, and c) a fair assumption that your audience will be workable.
It's also ferociously long. Malcolm fears that Macduff could be one of Macbeth's murdering goons, or that this is just a ruse to have Malcolm at the head of the army so that once things have been solved Macduff can shank him and take over. So Malcolm pretends that he's greedy, lustful, and near-demonic, and then Macduff bemoans the fate of their beloved Scotland. With such concern evident, Malcolm knows that he can trust Macduff... and then Macduff receives word that his wife, children, and the whole of his domain have been slaughtered. I left Ross - the usual messenger - out of this strip so as to focus on these two.
A strip for Sunday is not guaranteed; we'll see how things go tomorrow. Here's hoping; if not, we'll be back on 31 December!
Take the Sunday off, you've earned it! :D If I had to choose between a comic strip and family the latter would win every time! ;)
Cheers, Brickvoid! We'll see if all's ready when the toddlers' naptime comes...
