Man, it seemed like "Dawson's Creek" was on forever and now it's an outdated joke. Try to imagine its producers taking on "Harry Potter..." and try not to scream.

Gotta say - the imagery of Macbeth in a river of blood, right in the middle, and with as much work to do going forward as going back - is pretty fantastic and horrific.

The dude in the last panel has got to be none other than Harry Potter! :D I'm not sure I could imagine a worse fate for him! :D

Ahhh, the "blood stepp'd in so far" imagery... that brings back fond memories of studying Macbeth in English class at school *mumble mumble* years ago!

"Harry Potter" done by the producers of "Dawson's Creek"?

AAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

I said to try not to... But can see how tricky that is! ;)

And I think that the last panel guy's supposed to be Marcus Flint, the Slytherin captain of Quidditch for the first couple of books - y'know, when Quidditch was still a major feature of the stories.

I haven't seen Marcus much, that explains my unfamiliarity with his character. You learn something even in this webcomic! ;)

I really only remember the character's name because of a joke by Cleolinda Jones: "His name is Marcus Flint, which is ironic because he looks like he hasn't yet discovered fire."
