Trust me, we'll follow up on this... next week!
But next week there'll not be an "Irregular Webcomic." Heck, tomorrow there won't be. The long-running LEGO-and-other-things comic of David Morgan-Mar has come to an end, after nearly 3200 days of comics. If you've not seen it, hit it up.
I wonder if Tre's roommate is "fourth wall" aware? :D
I wonder what happens to any movie that tries to mix both vampires and Goth chicks into one? I'm not sure what that would be! :D
Ooooh, Vamp!Willow or Dark!Willow -- coooool!
I've been aching to put Dark!Willow into the strip ever since "The Burrow" arrived - the mix of Ginny hair with Bellatrix body+head is absolutely perfect.
Addendum: As for "fourth wall awareness," that sort of thing will usually come out organically or in asides. Those who are would know better than to constantly trumpet the fact, as it would likely be frustrating for many around them. It's like being the person who recognizes the tropes and calls out the movie's plot in advance of seeing it or who critiques the undercurrents of the novel and ruins it for others. (Granted, if that "ruins" it for you, then the text was likely already ruined...)
Now I should recombine the rest to see if Xander or Giles can be had from the Weasleys or Potter...
