Only the slightest of views and hints for the mayor. Fret not; there'll be more on him tomorrow. And there'll also be another character styling from the past...
No, no, wait! We need more hilarious parodies of Police songs! Or anything by Sting for that matter.
What's the Wesley Crusher Mortal Combat scenario? Does Reptile eat his head?
Thems was dashed off lyrics. Hmm... song parodies, eh...?
And I'll cite the "Hamster Huey and the Gooey Klablooie" example for my lack of elaboration on the "Wesley Crusher Mortal Kombat" scenario. Wil Wheaton gets first crack at it, anyhow, since I've read he disliked the character as much as the fans.
Frankly, Wil Wheaton's performances are okay to watch on reruns, but they gave him too many way too boring lines in ST:TNG.
L.B., can you do anything about the publish schedules? I keep getting here when there have been two comics posted and have to flip back a lot. It'd be nice if I could get new comic notifications. ;)
There's nothing wrong with Wheaton's performance; the trouble was with the characterization. And plots. And... pretty much everything.
As for the publish schedule - it's not been terribly regular for a couple of months. I'm trying for three per week - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - and should be able to do that for the summer. I may occasionally throw on an extra strip, but I'll let people know if I'm doing that the day before. Like this Sunday! (Sunday...Sunday...) I'll likely have a two-pager up for a variety of reasons, not the least of which would be the publishing gap and the American holiday on Monday meaning that many of my States-side colleagues will be taking the day off. This here is Canada Day and I'm posting!
(Or get an RSS reader app and subscribe to the comic. I've done that for my most compulsively-read strips with erratic update schedules. Everything on Comic Fury can be RSS'd.)
