Phew. It took forever to find the hook that I liked for this chapter, even though I knew where I wanted it to go. Criticisms helped me find this problem - and to work it into things. Where it goes from here...

And, for all those ardent fans, the return of Captain Exposition in a week! What better way to give thanks? (Canadian Thanksgiving is next weekend - strips will be up.)

Catastrophic collapse? That would either be awesome like a double rainbow all the way or not awesome, with the death of the entire cast.

You know, that's an excellent use of the Series 2 collectible minifig surfer head! ;)

That's the head as it appears on BrickLink, for anyone who's interested.

@Redstorm - Hopefully there's some weather pattern of sweetness to be found, though we'll see how it all comes together.

@Brickvoid - Good eye! Yeah, that head just cried out for red hair rather than beach blonde, and there's the proof! As awesome as the collectible minifigs are, it's the expressive heads and hairpieces that make them so valuable. (It's certainly not the legs - I'm rarely impressed by the printing there.)

@Lich Barrister: Yeah, I hope that TLG make the curly hair from the Series 1 clown in the well-known proper redhead color, or any hairpiece in that color for that matter.

There are the occasional "genetic mutations" that do pop up from time to time and apparently being a redheaded black boy/girl is apparently one of them over where I live. I'd sure like that kind of piece, as I could use it for sure on a few head pieces! ;)
