The bits in the second bubble of the first panel are a nod to some dialogue from "Werewolf," a horrible film taken to task by "Mystery Science Theatre 3000." They call their werewolves "yaniglanchi" for some reason.
I googled "yaniglanchi" and Google came back with "yetiglanchi" - are you sure you didn't misspell it? ;)
I noticed that when I googled it, too. I'll have to watch it again... the trick is that every actor pronounces it a little differently, so one's delivery may have stuck over others.
Addendum: On re-watching the opening, Joe Estevez may have said "yetiglanchi" - though his delivery's a little muttered - but Tom Servo definitely says "yani-" the first few times. The script may be definitive, but I trust the hosts of MST3K more. ;)
