Next week: Some examinations of my first Lego comics, never-before-posted to the web! Also, Carlos checks out vehicles! And Lich Barrister makes some odd, strange, possibly baffling asides! (Wait, the last's de rigeur.)
Oh, I can think of a load of those...
- The Merry Droids of Windsor
- Much Agro About Everything
- Henry 4.1 and Henry 4.2
- Henry 5.0 (New Upgrade)
- Romeo and Mercutio (actually, I think that one is already there in the subtext!)
"Your Ninja to England went to late" . . . because he took the last train to Clarksville.-
Orange Julius Caesar (directed by Kevin Smith)
@Louise - oh, that subtext is definitely there. My wife co-directed R'n'J at one of the local high schools - as you'll see next weekend in Lego - and there were two Mercutios since it was a double-cast play. One Mercutio was female, one was male. The direction to each was "Oh yeah, you've totally had it on with Romeo, but both of you know that nothing's going to come of it."
The kicker was that there was one male Tybalt and one female Tybalt. Their direction? "Your anger and rage comes from your love for Romeo which you know can never be. Hence, greater betrayal later on..."
My comment, of course, was that Tybalt was a little happy that Romeo stuck something into her/him even if it meant death...
