This is a revised version of the previous strip, designed to correct a couple of problems with legibility.

What do people prefer? I'm usually a fan of the opaque text boxes, but wonder if stark white is a good second option for non-dialogue. I'm happy to receive any constructive feedback.

The solid white dialog boxes are easy to read. Might be worth considering if they aren't used too often.

Yeah. Stark white is a good second option.

This version is much easier to read. That opaque is tricky to read when the background is busy.

I hear you loud and clear - more opaque panels! No, kidding. I'll stick with opaque when it's legible, but otherwise I'll move further along the gradient towards solid white when it's called for. Or I'll do that and then try other shades, but overall the solution is likely to pare down to six or four panels so that I'm not crowding the scene with bubbles.

Thanks for the notes, you guys.
