I initially thought of having Tiburon and Hecate sneak by while the Hellfire Club Crew broke it down. More fun with conflict.
Lyrics for the song in case the pale gold doesn't work as a good backdrop:
When there's a Shark you'd best get outta the way,
'specially when the Hellfire Club arrives here to say
when there's a Shark then there's also a fan
to stoke up Hellfire, best run if you can
When you're an HC, you're the baddest aroun'
You pack dynamite and they choke it down
When you're an HC, you fight while ya sing
But respect the stage, 'cause the play is the thing!
The song is a re-working of "Jet Song" from "West Side Story," with book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
The lyrics are cool, but the pale gold background makes it hard on these old eyes to read against the dark background. At first I thought line 8 went: "When you're an HO, you fight while ya sing"
Had to re-read it to make sure.
Anyway, parodying "Westside Story" while parodying Shakespeare is, of course, pure genius.
Duly noted - and noticed once viewing it outside of GIMP, too.
I'm adding a repaired version with stark white as a backdrop. I'll ask for a preference there, too.
I have been sufficiently terrified. By the somewhat campness of the entire routine. :P
