There's really no way to do the whole play, so it's just faves and ripe targets here on out.
King Duncan - Christopher Plummer
Malcolm - Lawrence Olivier
Sergeant - John Gielgud
Macbeth does not appear until the next scene - it's a quick scenelet before this one with the witches talking about battle and that they'll meet Macbeth on the heath. In this scene, Duncan - the king - is gaining information about the battle from a wounded sargeant, then next from some nobles. Whenever there's a lot to say in a play - and not the budget to have non-stop mayhem, I suppose - you have the characters talk about something that happened offstage or just before you got there. The character of "Ross" in this play fulfills this role so many times that I called him "Captain Exposition" when I taught this play... and the name stuck with me.
The guy with the shako and funky Classic Space jacket is, of course, Captain Clarence Exposition, a media officer.
Silly Barnicle guys. They just don't get anything that isn't a movie about them. ;-)
You know, I've never seen a Bionicle film. I bought the set with these guys because a) it was 50% off, and b) had some fantastic dark blue elements. This is the first time I've found a use for these gomer-y looking things.
